When I saw what you did to my pic my first thought was that this is a very troubled gentelman. Not so. I like your stuff. I especially like your fine art pics. Very mellow and smooth. No hard angles or shapes. Thanks for showing me another side of the pic.

I think the only reason I was disturbed about the way you saw the pic is that I didn't think of it :) That's what's so cool about this site. So many different looks. So many creative people. When I quit shooting in 1976 there was nothing like this to learn from.

Your short "Is bad :( Sorry." comment on my image (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=4916123) is most unfortunate and unhelpful. Perhaps your English is too limited to offer anything constructive. If it is, then that may partially explain why your comment is terse and shallow. However, I would prefer a comment in your native language like those left by other non-English speaking photographers. Leave it to me to find my own translation. This is what I am doing for you.

I would like to suggest that you should broaden your own horizons by not declaring a value judgment without explanation. Saying something is "bad" and saying it doesn't fall within the realm of your own tastes are two different matters. One is arrogant and self-limiting, the other provides space for others to exist. Consider allowing something to exist outside of your own taste without condemning it. It will allow you to hold your lantern higher, illuminating the path of your journey that you may see farther. It is much more satisfying than holding the light too close to the ground.

That said, I respect your artistic perspective. You have many superb images here, some of which are especially well-executed.

It's amazing the way you treat the photographs to create such an atmosphere in them. You are geat artist....Congrats to you and to them for the wonderful body of work that you have presented here. I look forward to seeing more. Thanks...

Felicitari! Ai un portofoliu nemaipomenit! Imi plac, indeosebi, portretele si pisicile tale! Pisicile, pentru ca si eu am un motan pe care il ador. Si sunt o iubitoare de pisici si de animale, in general. Imi plac si compozitiile si lumina din fotografiile "mai ciudate". Ai "ochi", cum s-ar zice...

Fara sa stiu ca esti roman, inca de la primele fotografii din portofoliul tau, am avut senzatia de ceva cunoscut. Mi se parea o lume comuna si des intalnita... Si apoi, dupa ce am inceput sa citesc comentariile lasate de alti vizitatori, am descoperit ca suntem conationali. Si asta ma bucura! :-) Mult succes in continuare! Mirona

I really love your work. The unconventional angles (perfectly executed), the colours (you must love autumn, if any time of the year specifically) and the atmosphere in your pictures. They all tell their own little story.
