Same here. Being a virtual beginner myself, your images give me something to strive for. I'm a huge nature photo fan, however, I love how you show buildings in a way that makes them seem not so "urban" or "developed." Thank you for rating my photo!

I had a great time looking at your portfolio and will come back often (btw, nice pictures of my home town - j'habite a cinq minutes des chutes Montmorency). You seem to have a keen eye for brief and sharp moments as well as for long and tasty moods - I like the way you use light, scale or perspective to actually say something. Keep up the good work!

The other is that, as always, the least I can do is visit the site of the person who took the time to comment. I can see by your portfolio that you're no slouch either when it comes to wonderful images. A good cross section of work. I will have to put some quality time aside to come back and look a bit closer and comment on individual images. Hello Lionel. Just wanted to leave a few words here to tell you how much I've found it pleasant to take a look at your portfolio again. Tons of varied, impressive pictures. Your photography is human and charming as well as technically and aesthetically very interesting. I like that kind of approach very much. Congrats, Laurent.

Lionel: I finally put some time aside and took a closer look at your work today. What a good eye you have. Like me, you seem to love to photograph different things. I can never seem to select a subject. A curse and a blessing. Keep shooting your wondeful images and keep sharing them with the world. How wonderful that we all get to see what it's like on the other side of the world. Through your photos, we see how different things are and yet, how much the same they are. We are all here together on this planet. The sooner human beings realize and accept that, the better off we will all be. Your work brings us closer to that day.

Well, I know for sure that one of my days shooting was better than sex......

... among the other excellent shots, I particularly like those of the cathedrals in Toul and Metz. So very hard to capture these in any meaningful way, but you have a couple of shots that stand out wonderfully. Your shot "Divine Illumination" is one of my favorites.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace.
