Shamik Bag , November 06, 2005; 01:22 P.M.

Hello

I like quite a few shots in your portfolio, especially in the macro, nightime and the lineup of boats in your Varanasi folder. But at the same time, i think, that you can do away with a few photographs that you might have outgrown. I guess that will tighter your portfolio further and make it look more impressive. I also take this opportunity to thank you for taking time off to work on one of my postings. I should have done it earlier, but since i have been off photo.n for a while i couldnt. I have recently added a few shots in my portfolio and would like to invite you to drop by. Your opinion is valued. thanks...shamik

Dilip Kumar Singha , November 07, 2005; 03:47 A.M.

Thanks:

Dear Stefano:

I am very much glad on seeing your comment on my portfolio. Once I also visited Italy that too Rome also. I like all the old monuments of Rome including "Collosium". People from Clacutta (now Kolkata) are very fond of walking. Rome is a small city, I almost walked many historical places and also went by walk to Vatican City. I always remember that it was the land of the great cultural revolution in Europe. I am having a great regard for your country. Please visit me again.

Dear Shamik:

I have almost forgotten that, I have ever commented on any of your photograph. Now I can recapitulate that it was probably on the size of a photograph I wrote to you. I am very glad that you have gone through my portfolio. Thank you for complements. I also agree with you that, I should delete some of my old photographs. I am simply waiting for some opportunity and excuse. Please visit me again.

Dear BIPLAB,

Thank you for your nice comments. Though photography is having its own language still, the world is full of so diversity that apart from the universal aspects some specific aspects also remain to be told for better understanding, I believe. Not me but my wife is a vocalist. Though not photographically but I am very much in touch with Kolkata since all my relatives stay there. Please visit my portfolio again and offer your comments.

Dear MEHMET,

Thank you for your encouraging comments. I have seen your portfolio and am very much impressed. I will be very happy if you make comments on a few of my specific photographs. Regards,

Bill Foster , March 16, 2006; 09:26 P.M.

I really like your portfolio. You have a lot of strong photos of your diverse and fascinating country. I particularly like the photos of Varanasi and of Vadodara. If I can make a suggestion, it's be good, IMO, to concentrate some more on the details of everyday life and less on the scenics. For instance, everyone takes shots of the Taj Mahal but not everyone goes in a cool old music shop like that. Anyway, I'll be back to visit! (PS: I should be in India a couple times this year also. I am quite excited to see it for myself after ten years of wanting to).

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.

Happy Holidays and Happy Shooting

Ken
