Yes Laurent, you are absolute right. I consider that the combination between digital photo and manipulated it by computer is the new art of this century. I have been working with several "interior design companies" and they want this kind of work where you are able to traslate it to any kind of surface (paper, canvas, etc). For us, the artist, no matter what we do, paint, photo, sculpture, etc. it is amazing read that our work not touch just only eyes or brains, even the HEARTS, and this is the TOP place where we can go, there is nothing better than that. Here you have a friend.

I really commend you on how you actually utilize PS for your photos. I do not have PS so rather limited but still need to learn more about where I am right now with photography. I want to do some b/w with a color somewhere in the photo and working with that with what software I do have but I feel it is rather limited. Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by which by the way brought me to yours. Will be back to seem more!!!

We photographer, amateur, advance, professional etc have all, different style of showing captures of time in the other side of the lens, mine is showing the fun side of life. Because I did tons of money with my guitar, I?m making tons of money with Real Estate and to take picture for me is just a hobby which I enjoy. About your style I can say that you are the "Picasso of photography" on your tops gallery, (never like Infrared or ultraviolet, Its good for science)

My last words are that most of your style of showing your work is awesome!

Fotos o pintura? No creo que importe demasiado. Siempre he aplicado el principio de "lo que parece que esta bien es que esta bien" y en tu caso esta muy bien. El uso que haces del color es fenomenal y las composiciones que nos muestras son muy personales (pocas veces puede uno decir lo mismo). El mundo digital nos depara muchas cosas nuevas y hay que saber aceptarlas. El maestro del procesado digital, con todos sus trucos por asi decirlo, es el equivalente del maestro del cuarto oscuro y al igual que admirabamos a este hay que admirar a aquel. Mi sincera enhorabuena Donibane.

I couldn't find one photo I would rate below a 6. Nothing was boring to me as it all made me want to stop and touch them, feel them and sometimes laugh and even cry. The one where the man (is it you) with the boy running on the beach is so wonderful that I had chills.

I think you are really a digital artist. I'm not so fond of digitally manipulated photos and don't do it myself, except maybe for some slight cropping and exposure adjustment.

But I am absolutely sure that yours is a different way of expressing visual arts. I like your B&W photos as well as the photos of the wreck very much.

It was absolutely stunning to go through your exstensive portfolio.

Very creative images of what to me is art in the best sense of the word. Reminds me of the great surrealist artists of the last century. Mixed in with Archimbolto. And you own rich imagination. Absolutely a delight! Have you had exibitions of these images? What about museums?

The rest of your images are also truly beautiful -

One feels quite small when compared to this.. I am photographing people in their everyday lives, sometimes portraits. A different kind of thing. And not anywhere near you in accomplishment.

It was delight to navigate though your work. Keep up your creative energy.

Tus imagenes son originalisimas y muchas de ellas me han gustado, algunas por la tremenda creatividad en la fusión de diferentes cosas y otras por las mezclas atractivas de vivos colores o temas que me "llegan". Tambien tengo estas dos pasiones: la fotografia y la pintura - oleo, pastel, zuri ta beltza - creo que al empezar a pintar uno se da cuenta realmente de cuando una foto deja de ser una foto para ser una obra de arte, y esta clase de ojo creo que lo estoy perfeccionando con mis experiencias en pintura. Espero poder seguir viendo mas imagenes tuyas y poder comentarte cosas en el futuro Just one comment, tu curioso nombre-apellido, imagino que es el "nombre artistico". Un abrazo y feliz verano. You have a striking portfolio with some very creative and startling images. I really liked seeing the panels that show several different interpretations of one image. You have so much vision for creating unique and fanciful images. A stunning collection!

Gracias Donibane por tus amables comentarios que me han servido de excusa para volver a repasar tu galeria, lo cual es siempre un auntentico placer. Lo que comentas de los pies es evidente pero era una prueba de una pantalla reflectora casera que me hice, no habia modelo disponible, así que era un poco complicado encuadrar a ojo (apretaba el disparador con el temporizador y salia corriendo a posar) disponiendo además de muy poca distancia desde la camara al sujeto (el cuarto no daba mas de si). Bueno perdon por el peñazo y un abrazo.

Muchas gracias por tu comentario sobre mi foto de Llanes. La verdad es que no sólo el pueblo, sino que el concejo entero es una pasada (y yo no soy de allí, que conste); tiene unas playas y unos acantilados fuera de serie. A propósito, me gustan mucho tus fotos tuneadas. Veo que le das caña al Photoshop de lo lindo. También he visto tu foto de la playa de Torimbia. Es una playa preciosa, pero como no lleves un ojo de pez o un mega-gran angular no cabe entera en el encuadre. Para pillarla bien-bien con un 16mm hay que subir a las antenas que están justo detrás. Desde ahí lo pillas todo, pero cuidadín con la guardia civil, que a mí me han sometido al tercer grado por saltarme el "prohibido el paso". Bueno, suerte con las fotos y sigue así, tienes un estilo muy chulo. Saludos astures, Carlos.
