Yes, Your macro flowers are wonderful. I am a bit new to the macro with rings and like your interpretation of flowers in black & white. I am a fan of Georgia O'keeffe and her flowers, the idea of which, she took from photography. I hope to explore the macro flowers more as spring comes to life. Thanks for sharing. Thanks so much for commenting on my image "It Starts With A Thought..." This was actually one of the first ones I did where I lock myself in a hotel room and just let the rest unfold. The other two shoots were in rooms with large windows so I took advantage of that natural light. This one was not my favorite room at all and that's why I found other hotels for the other two shoots. Your thoughts are very helpful and I can't thank you enough for giving me some advice. I guess this one is more posed as the others were captured as I was being me and just pressing the shutter release at random times. I think the others really captured more what I'm going for in the series and your comments really helped me see that. Thanks! deb

I enjoyed looking at your images Mark. The way you have grouped them makes it possible to see your "story". From Macro to Micro you seem to have a wide range of interests which is a little different than someone who does only one thing. But most of all, I value it because I really appreciate your work. You have so many awesome pictures! Such great ideas executed with such mastery of light and shape. I especially revere your nudes: delicate & soft without that ''too-polished'' look I often see and find disapointing in otherwise fine shots. Your nudes are real, you can feel them and almost touch them. For me your work is a powerful and true study of man: sometimes vulnerable and weak; sometimes strong & mighty; sometimes curious and intelligent; sometimes mysterious & cryptic...But most of the time a little bit of everything at once, adding up to a sincere and whole portrait of man. You have a exceptional portfolio. One of the best I have come across on this site. You have been among my favorite photographers for a long time, so as for looking at your work, and more of it over time, you have incredible depth and creativity.

Mark, you have fantastic talents. Enjoyed the "Gates" series in Central Park for it gave me a sense of space and dimension of Christo's work as well as a view of the park itself ... good combination of the two expressions. Your "Ashbury Park," "flowers," and "workshop" series also caught my eye (but then I am a sucker for beaches, fleurs and landscapes). Finally, I believe working with the model is an art form in and of itself; and, I admire you are working in a broad range, including blending different elements through different portfolio series. So nice to see some series B'n'W here at photo.net!

I scoured your portfolio and I think there some very good work in it. I also like that you use film a lot, being a film user myself.
If you allow me a remark, I would suggest that it would benefit from a major editing work, though.
Do you have a website where you publish your selection of photos?
I would be interested to see, because in many cases your series could be much more compact, avoiding some repetition, which is there.

Amazing portfolio!
I was looking through your collections and was admiring the multitude of you B&W photos. They are absolutely great. You have a good eye for nudes (who wouldn't :P - just joking:) ). I was expecting to see some colored pictures too, and there they were in the end.

What a beautiful array of tasteful images you have here....... an hour just flew by. I have learned much.
