For some reason ,my comment on you verticle fog photo went away,I did not delete it. I like you portfolio, you have a keen eye for composition.

Thank you for critiquing my photo. I had a look at yourportfolio and I am honoured that you liked my shot, especially seeing that you are highly accomplished at seascapes. Although you have many excellent landscapes, my favourite in your gallery is Melody.

You have many great photos here. My favourite is South of the Sun - it immediately grabbed my attention as atmospheric and a great subject. Cheers, Nathan.

The water shots are really nice, but like an earlier comment said, the split filter line is too visible and too low. it causes the water, or the rock or whatever to have a visible unnatural line across it. if the sky alone were held back, they would be sweeter, but I still definitely like them all.

by the way, i never really thought about it but you are the one who re-inspired my interest in photography... so thanks; and i got my camera back! lets go crazy.. keep up the hot photos, YOU rock

I review one photo of the beach photos and gave it an average. I then viewed the rest of the portfolio and felt that I should leave another comment :). I think the secret beach section is wonderfull! Great color and framing, definitely one of my favorite type of photos.

Also, may I ask what lens you use for your Macros??

I just started selling my work at some art shows and in a few galleries. More and more everyday I think of how amazing it would be to do this for a living. Came across your portfolio and it caused me to stop and ponder your many images. I've come away from my time here feeling uplifted, inspired, and satisfied. A very nice body of work Jon-Michael.

I want to say thanks again to everyone. I just won best of show in a big California Central Coast exhibition and it felt so good. I think the reason why I love photo.net is it is like therapy for me. I need people to enjoy my photos so I know I am making somewhat of a small difference. And hopefully my photos can make someone's day a little better.

Your work has really developed well since I last had a look through your portfolio, although many individual shots have caught my attention in TRP. You certainly have developed a personal style, even though your seascapes are surprisingly varied.
