Dear David,

Its not that every one can go to the moon but some one has that much ability to bring the moon to the earth through his or her lens. I think you are in the second category. Lovely sense you have which reflects in your portfolio. WATCHING YOU and PUSSY CAT are the brilliant creation. I love almost all of your portrait. Step ahead....... we want to have you at your best. Thanks a lot.

Jack Blake , September 15, 2005; 02:54 P.M.

Nice collections of portraits.

I think portrait (human shots) is your strongest field. It stands out from the rest of the your genres.

Albert.

Drew Jackson , December 03, 2005; 12:07 P.M.

David

I agree with others that have commented that your portraiture work really stands out, but I also think your architextural images really pop. In contrast to some others who have shared a comment, I have been doing photography for a long time. This experience seems to give me very little advantage when I see new photographers such as yourself with such a good eye. Congratulations on an excellent portfolio of work. Keep shooting.

Drew

David

Thanks for your comment on my folio,I hate to tell you but I am also new to this.I got sick a couple of years ago and decided that I needed a new direction in my life and hence I started, two years ago exactly with a cheap 3.1mgp bought at my supermarket, when that did not do what I wanted it to I saved up for another camera and I am now on my third one.I still say your photos do not look like a beginners, but since you say you are a beginner we will put it down to your having a wonderful eye.

Davide Tizzoni , December 28, 2005; 06:57 A.M.

Rob Wray , February 21, 2006; 01:52 P.M.

David

After browsing through your folder and reading your Bio. i disagree that your landscape images and other images were not upto the same standard. Your portrait shots are very good. I'm just about to start on this subject. Was your Jessop course worth it, did you get good advice out of it? Let me know I'd like to learn a bit more about good lighting control etc. Kind regards Rob

Andrew Janssen , February 24, 2006; 09:42 P.M.

David, you sure don't look new to photography! Your photos are beautiful. A fellow new D-70 user!

Lol C , March 27, 2006; 03:18 P.M.

Nice portfolio, especially your portraits. Great start, keep it up.

Nicole Cimon , April 08, 2006; 11:00 P.M.

Hi David, it seems by your portfolio, your interest lies more in portraits. They are wonderful, however I must say I did enjoy your graveyard folder the most ! Very original, regards, Nicole.

Neil Peters , May 15, 2006; 09:03 A.M.

you are so humble, when commenting on others work; and your compositions are adventurous and balanced; your portraits interesting, full of tonal range, nice lighting. I'll be back to see more !

Donibane Sanjuan , May 17, 2006; 05:39 A.M.

John Nguyen

Drew Jackson , September 06, 2006; 11:08 P.M.

Portraits

Your portfolio reminded me why I don't shoot people anymore. I never really liked it, it showed in my results, and there are many people (like you) who are so much better at it than I am. Nice work.

Erik Skaar , October 09, 2006; 08:48 P.M.

Wonderful work

Hi David-

Jut wanted to stop by and check out your portfolio; and glad I did. I think the two that stood out most for me was Evening Tree and The Look. I would have to say that she is certainly muse worthy and you could spend a very long time working with her without losing interest (no innuendo intended). Evening tree is just a wonderful image of a natural setting and the animals frame left just add to that spontaneous capture feeling. Wonderful colors as well. I hope to see much more from you.

Best regards, Erik

Alex Milarakis , January 17, 2007; 01:38 A.M.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.

Happy Holidays and Happy Shooting

Ken
