Hi JC,

Your photographs really tell stories and you've got an unusual collection of snake photos which I've found really informative (and sometimes a bit... scary:)). Thank you for your comment on my photo. Regards, wm

Thanks for your kindly words on my photo "supperter". I look through your bio and portfolio. I like your photos. They are very interesting and beautiful. I think a documentary picture can be fine art too. Waiting for your fine art pieces, especially the beautiful snakes. Best regards!

Thanks for your comments on my portfolio.

I tried your website. The page was blank.

Your snake photos on Photo.Net are very nice. Good B&W photos too. It sounds like you use a lot of film.

Good luck with your work and I will check back now and then.

Thank you for your comments on my scrpion picture. If you wat you can download a full version at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Centruroides_suffusus_1.jpg, I put it up for whoever can use it.

I got stung by one of these babies but they fascinate me. Fortunately/unfortunately, there are lots and lots of scorpions where I live. We problably squash 40-50 a year in my house. The funny thng is that one always sees them and senses them.

I will start photographng them more closely, details, etc., and I will definitely look up their venom characteristics. Any tips as to where to start?

I read your bio. Interesting wayt to look at photography. I am a sociologist and that is one of the arguments I make about the medium.

And last, but not least, good portfolio. Siguele!!!

They are not poisonous and not real big maybe 2 feet long. enjoyed your bio. also. very interesting career. Take care and look forward to seeing more of your work and getting your feedback. Very interesting photos from this region of Texas. I am familiar with many of these areas having lived in Corpus Christi and having a family ranch near Falfurrias and in Concepcion, TX. The area has a lot of history but very hot and humid in the Summer. Jose Guerra
