Thanks for the advice on my photo (crop). I took it and made a nice 16x20 !! Well I cheated a bit. I stretched the left lefterer.

Just realised I haven't said thanks to any of you for your very kind comments. THANK YOU. I have been very busy in my professional work for the last few months but I am going to Malaysia this summer so I hope to do a lot of photography there. I will post some here later on.

Hi Louis, I've always admired your works and your recent compliment on my works is truly appreciated indeed. As you know I love portraits and landscapes. I try to look at compositions very carefully before pressing the shutter. I am sure you do the same too. Excellent work here Louis. ^_^

There're lots of professional portfolios on photo.net that specialize in one particular style, but few with such an eclectic mix of styles. Your variety shows the broad scope of your artistic vision.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I hope to have 2 exhibitions this year. Feel free to point out the ones you reckon I should include, maybe even ones you think others would buy!

I do worry if I my 'style' is not apparent but lots of things catch my eye and I hope that remains so.

Forgive my Spanish it is not as good as your English.

Take photographs for your self, for love or enjoyment (and lots of them) and ask yourself before you press the button "what is it I am photographing and is there anything else in the image I should remove?" . There is nothing special you have to learn or use. Everything else will follow.

Or just "keep it simple".

throughout your portfolio there is professionalism mixed with humanity. When I go through it, I remember many of your photos. That means, they have a lasting impat.
I find your comment on my portfolio very interesting. In fact it is in line with what I am getting aware more and more. When I started with photo.net, I wanted to eternalise my best photos of the past. Thanks for your comment in my portfolio and yes, normally the people I photograph, they enjoy that I do that and they like to tell their stories. Its great when we can comunicate with them...I try always, when I do a documentary, to talk and know about them.

Thats the purpose of my work, to photograph anonimous people, life stories, places...
