Thank you very much for your link to the tutorial. I will have a look later. Actually, the halo may due to the fact that I used several post-processing techniques to mimic HDR with the use of (not so well defined) masks. It's all done on one exposure only and not a series of 3 or 5 exposures.
Your HDR folder is really well composed, I just am a huge fan of HDR and you have excellent photos. Will come back later to ask for advice :)
