let me do the honor of commenting first in your portfolio. all of your photos is not about technical photography. the focus is about the story telling to each photograph. your photos are always moody, retro, a kind of feeling the viewer as if traveling back in time. it brings back a lot of previous memories. you have a very distinctive style. you know how to seperate your self from the rest. thanks for sharing. best regards DSC.

Your portfolio is something new and old, at the same time. I think it is like an impressionistic painting, you see it, you view it and it gives a new view to matters. In a way, combining old and new, sharp and unsharp, vivid and pale colors. Interesting views of how things are. Happy shooting!

Hello.....I want to thank you for your critique of my "Nest on a Steam Tractor". That is a picture I took several years ago with a point and shoot. There was zoom used, but not digital zoom.....and it was not cropped out of a larger shot. It was worked on and saved for the net with a rather primitive program, and I tended to over sharpen more then. I just found the original and re-worked a bit it in Photoshop and I think it is improved.... I'd be pleased to hear if you think the same! They are under "Nature" in my portfolio. You have some nice work in your portfolio.....wish there was more! I particularly like the "Closer" folder.

The ideas are there. I especially like your experiments with light, especially in your portraits. it shows that you have the spirit of adventure. Now, go out and shoot more! Emmanuel.

Thank you for the comment. I try my best to stay out of the loop, I see that you are with me on that. Although i still have to make a living by doing weddings and portrait i try to work something new into that aswell.

hello. thank you for your comment... yes, those are kitchen matches. I upload soon more of them. I dont think that has to be perfect understood that those are matches. and keeping on fire is a pretty clich頦or me. this way is better I think. your model pics are pretty cute. I like the background light effect when the place around the model seems like heavebn =) nah byebye oh, you are from Romania too???? me 3 :P

Thank you for visiting my gallery and commenting. I've been shying away from the critique forum lately, as it has just gotten so rough, it is rather discouraging. So the "no words" forum lets me post images without getting beaten up! And it leads me to people like you, so that is all to the good. I especially like your "light" ladies pictures. Beautifully done, and you are fortunate to have such a lovely model. You certainly have a promising future in photography. By the way, I got a S70 to carrry on bike trips and really like the smallness and convenience and still can shoot in RAW.

Merci frumos pt cuvintele frumoase, ma bucur ca te-am facut atent cu unele fotografii, de altfel si eu am urmarit lucrarile tale, ai un stil aparte un ochi bun, e adevarat ca de multe ori poate nu inteleg unele lucruri in fotografiile tale dar imi plac , e ceva acolo care ma atrage,si subinconstientul meu le percepe intr-un mod placut. ce sa mai zic?...... BRAVO, continua ca faci treaba buna. E o meserie si un Hobby foarte frumos , sa continui.

In primul rand ... sa spun ca ... esti meserias la discutiile pe forumurile de ... discutii (:, ma balbai, asta este ... sunt emotionat.

Si ca sa ii citez pe cativa de pe aici ... "multumesc ca mi-ai comentat pozele mele".

OK, lasand gluma la o parte ... am inteles ca esti de ceva vreme pe aici. Ai un portofoliu deosebit. Recunosc ca nu este in totalitate pe gustul meu, eu abordez putin altfel fotografia decat tine, dar imaginile tale au ceva diferit de comun. Nu stiu daca asa vezi tu fotografia, sau doar incerci abordari diferite, dar arata interesant.

Si zici ca toate imaginile astea le-ai facut cu un A80 ? ... Respect. Foarte rar vad poze reusite facute cu aparate de genul asta.

And I can see from your photos what you mean when you urge me to reach for new levels. I do feel that I'm in a bit of a rut, but not sure if my old brain is capable of lifting its game. Thanks for stopping by my portfolio, I am glad to hear you get angry, but sadly not enough people do.We humans seem to think this world was made exclusively for us, which is properly why its such a mess now.I like your portfolio, especially your callings section.I just finished reading the comments on your portfolio.All I can say is that its all very simple but not many people ever discover that and revel through life in meaningless complications(previous comment before your answer to it).Keep discovering and don,t get scewed up along the way and let the beauty you love be what you do.

wonderful poetry dancing in images. Your light adds to the quality of objects and transforms them. Very few times does any artist arrive to conducting forms, colors and lights into a sweeping wave of music. One of the few with skills that can expand on meaning. Congratulations. Very inspiring.

I like your photos; many of them are thought-provoking.

My favorite is, "my too few colours,.." because I think of an ordinary fellow hoping very much to influence the girl of his dreams. Unfortunately the girl will still spurn his affections;although, the viewer believes by the flowers, that they are almost enough to sway her opinion. Our conclusion by the way you have colored them.

Ai un portofoliu bun, pe care l-am mai vizitat. Imi este evidenta cautarea ta printre lumini si forme, printre obiecte si oameni, cu ajutorul carora incerci sa exprimi obiecte interioare (idei, sentimente, trairi...). Creatia trebuie legata de psyche pentru a fi creatie. Mi-au placut comentariile tale, multumesc.

Ma bucur din tot sufletul pentru tine, pentru R. , pentru ceea ce e intre voi si pentru regasirea plina de parfumul vremurilor de altadata. Iti multumesc pentru fiecare clipa pe care ai surprins-o si pe care mi-ai impartasit-o in imagini si in vorbe, acum si in trecut. Imi era dor de tine, de voi si de toate micile noastre amintiri. Ma bucur ca ai devenit un artist al clipelor de eternitate , care toarna "in suflet infinitul unui pahar cu hidromel". Sunt sigur ca si de acum inainte ma vei mai surprinde la fel de placut ca si pana acum.

Succes in tot ceea ce faci, iar in privinta voastra... numai bucurii, sanatate si fericire!

Your portfolio is original and therefore interesting. Every image proves anew that you do not comply with common standards or conventions, nurturing creativity. Considering 'aesthetics' as well, I really like the folders 'lighter forms' and 'among'.
