I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for your great suggestions on shooting and assembling panoramic shots. Your two mountain panoramics are what I someday hope to be able to do...they are great. Especially the one composed of 5x shots...not a stick line ot be found and the sky is perfect. Great job...very inspiring. Thanks again!

The best images, imho, are in the first two folders: the moonriser over the old barn, the MacDougal church §(i prefer the violet cast of the original instead of the yellowish cast of the revised), and - mostly - the MacDougal Cuurch on a Stormy Night. You are fortunate in some ways to have so much wild land to explore. California is still beautiful but it is more difficult to find solitude and wild places. --Kurt

your have an amazing Porfolio...and I might be a little biased.....my Brother has lived in Canmore Banff for over 25 years. When I was out there last he was managing Bumpers Inn and Joe Blitifsticks.....before that it was Melissa's Misteak....for the last 15 or more years he has been in Real Estate. His name is Ray Anthony and works(worked) for Remax.(In Canmore...and resides there also) Times are not as good now...but he has been very successful, last winter he enjoyed many afternoons skiing and forwarded the shots to me. I think he still has his Website but is working from his home. Your photos when I first saw them....so many names that were so familiar. Was out there last in '89 - with my 2 children....(ending old life...hoping for new)...New did happen about 20 years ago...we hope to get out there this or next summer. I'll be adding you to my favorites...your excellent photography brings back so many memories...such beautiful country. And I do miss him and his family. You have some pretty impressive work there....it will take me awhile to 'enjoy' every bit of it!!!! sincerely, Gail Harmer

Hi Neil - you have many beautiful images. I hit your FootHills site and noticed you are from Cochrane. I visited Cochrane a few years ago during a business trip to Calgary. The foothills and Alberta Rockies are, I think, one of the more beautiful areas in the world. You are fortunate to live there and have done a great job of capturing them. I really like Moonrise over MacDougal Church, many of the barn shots, and a number of the Alberta landscapes.

By the way, regarding your Foothills site - the gallery does not work when you visit with FireFox, although it does work with IE. Just a suggestion: since FF has 25%+ browser market share these days - would be worth your while to look into this. Because some FF visitors will not think to re-visit with IE, and then you will lose them.

Just letting you know that I use Firefox, and I'm not having any problems accessing your gallery. You may want to ask some other people. Jerry, perhaps the problem is with your settings? Anyway, hope this is helpful.

Actually Christal, Jerry was correct. I was aware of the issue, but had not taken any corrective action as I was setting up a new site at that point. When you happened along the new web site was already up and running, and the gallery worked a charm.
