WOW!! Very nice portfolio. Between you and another PN member by screen name Ice Rock, I have been convinced that Iceland needs to be on my "places to go". Looks beautiful, but enough about the country, your photos are great. You have a very good eye, and the ability to capture something you may see everyday in unique ways. Olie, i am looking at your picture holding your dogs. i read what you say. i see your dog on your left arm just enjjoying the sun and read what you say about yourself and i think to myself that "You are the man" olgeir Andresson (I have a Boston terrier). Sorry i am being personal but Your pictures are stunning and there you are talking about common stuff. please never ever give that up. Your approachability is your strenght. See...out here in the big cities, people do not like each other much...they pretend like they do but they secretely hate each other or desire company...new york is the lonelyest place on earth. YOU on the other end is the contrary of that.. Please stay that way. I like you and so does many people here at photo.net (and beyond) because you are a sane man. We need your sanity. I' ve been to Reykjavik (5 days in the natural spring hot swimming pool and eating sea food and being a passive young tourist) I know not about your land and humankind and friendship but i sense that you do! You tell us !

As many have noted, you have a real talent. You are at your best (IMHO) when you show us the stark landscapes and seascapes of Iceland. They show a haunting beauty that I have never seen before, and have a sense of both desolation and awe. I have never heard of Rockville, so I thank you for increasing my small field of knowledge. Your IGS photos while of interest, do not show off your talent as well. All and all, it has been a great tour. Keep up the good work.

I've seen a LOT of photography of Iceland and never get tired of it. That's why Iceland is at the top of my travel list.

Your shots of your great, exotic and mysterious country are fascinating.

So many have already said this but your photos are breathtaking in their rough beauty. Iceland is such a unique place full of a mysterious nature, and you really make it come alive. I?ve been to Iceland for only two days, but it stole a part of my heart which is why your portfolio is such a treat for me. Thank you for sharing. Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. I enjoy the most your way to handle low light and ability to expose beauty of your country. I've been interested of your mysterious country since my father was the bodyguard of Ingibjorg Solrun Gisladottir in ETYK 1975. She gave beautiful photo book from Iceland to my father as present and I was reading it many times... You have opened my eyes again to the beauty of your country and I will stay tuned in your gallery.

I have been through Iceland several times courtesy of stopovers with Iceland Airlines, and have always been warmly treated, in spite of being a tourist. I love your country, and enjoy seeing your images of it. I especially like the framed images of Keiler, using the window frame of a building to capture the landscape, it's theme that works well since you have such a dramatic landscape view to offer. Keep shooting. These are so nice to see!

After seeing one of your photos (aurora borealis), I took a look at your portfolio and found it fantastic! I've been in Iceland for a work meeting about volcanic activity in air navigation business and loved your country and hospitality.
