Very, very nice. The colour shots in particular are exquisite. Really superb portfolio which I'll be revisiting regularly. Pictures like these make all the time spent trawling through the dross that somehow gets onto the front pages worthwhile - I can really learn from your work. Thanks for sharing.

Intriguing portfolio. Not only do you seem at home with nature or on the street, it seems you have mastered two very different genres. That impresses me! Lots of great stuff here, thanks for sharing.

Capturing the Lake District
Hi Phil,
I was really happy to see your excellent Lake District photos. You've got a lot of interesting angles (such as the one from the top of Haystacks looking to Grasmoor) and you've captured the colours and the moods beautifully. I'll keep coming back to look at your portfolio as I try to take more and better photos in the Lakes......best wishes, Hugo

Your work is beautiful and lush! I like how you're able to reveal the simplicity and the complexity of the world around you. You have a wonderful relationship with Mother Nature, and we the viewers of what you see are all the better for it!

I think you manage to show the best of the most simple thing. I have a SQ-A myself with a 150 mm lens and can't take grerat shots, seeing your picture is encourageing to improve. Regards.

You Make Me Sick
Every time I come by here to look at your work, I'll hope that my awe will have faded a bit, that I'll have developed enough (not that I've posted anything new on Pnet for years) to see through whatever gimmick you use to make such spectacular photos. I'm beginning to understand that there is no gimmick, you're just that good. So please understand that I say this with the utmost admiration and respect: You make me sick.

Hi Phil,
Now I know where you've been hiding all the really good stuff. And to think all these years I've been looking at your blog - they were just teasers. Excellent work here, Phil. As always. Keep in touch.
