Your abstracts and architectural images are creative, and well presented. A very nice portfolio. Every image is thoughtful and well done. And I like that it is small, so one can appreciate it in its entirety.
(As to your comment on my surfing picture: that was as it was photographed. I had never seen that kind of surfing before, where the person runs in from the shore and catches waves as they come in. They have to use a very small board without a skeg, because of sliding on the sand, I suppose. He got amazing "air" at times, as you can see. I am guilty of manipulation at some times, but not here!)

Unique Style
Hi Polina - what makes your portfolio different (from a lot of us) is that you already have developed an unique style. The sort of thing that somebody would say - "that's a Polina Viljun". Your abstract, still life's are art works. Simple, somber and striking.

Dear friend, Saturday night, the 8th of December, my wife and I, had a big incident with our car (head-on collision), and we are alive for miracle: anyway, these not good moments, become also good moments! indeed, in these occasions, we can understand that life is so breakable, for not being happy every day to awaken, drink a coffee, to smile, to make love and other simple things, to meet people and, why not, to do photographs!
For doing these things we don?t need a lot of money and power: we need only our life and the capacity for surprise of simple things.
I have had a big gift, for this Xmas and the New Year, that is to say, I?m alive! and now, I know, I?ll love more life!
My dear friend! I wish to you the same thing, namely, the ability to transform the accidents of life in happiness to live better and to give the proper value to your life and to that of other!

Polina, your work is exquisite. The "Industrial Textures", Hand Made" in both Color and B&W truly exemplify your abilities as a Fine Art Photographer in my opinion. Not to overshadow you abilities to capture very good portraiture work. Obviously you share a comfortable presence with all of your models. I am assuming that some is self portraiture as well, yes?
