Highly abstract approach. It gives you new dimensions in your macro works. It drives landscapes magnificent. On various scenes, even through their smiles, portraits remain a drop of sadness, maybe being haunted.

I wonder why you haven't gotten any portfolio comments throughout two years of clicking with Style - for me, it is very impressing.

It is another impulse for me to rebuild my entire portfolio... almost - lest when I will come back home - it shall vary from what I have now. Different.

Thank you.

Joe Konz , June 26, 2007; 12:32 P.M.

Vamsi, thank you for your visit to my gallery and for your kind words. You have great concepts for still life, and I loved what you have on display here! I also like the idea of exploiting hardware for photographic concept development! If you love florals, keep after them as well ... I loved the elegant lavender bloom in your portfolio.

Karlien Raubenheimer , July 05, 2007; 09:14 A.M.

Your macro & still life is really very good! I still have to learn a lot to be able to take pictures like that!

Alibek Makhmudov , July 13, 2007; 02:58 P.M.

Joe was right. Such a lavender bloom is like a wave, slowly transitioning from picture to picture, throughout the entire portfolio, making it complete and full of harmony--all STILL.

Maybe this is price of this visual unity lots of us're fond of.

I've got some of the new works, too, and you're very welcome to see them. Your new additions have only added more wind in the default direction meaning one--on purpose!!

Update: The following comment has been deleted as I was talking of the same thing... COLOUR ...it is still a great feature, I haven't changed my mind about. Definitely. Keep in touch, Alibek

Karlien Raubenheimer , July 28, 2007; 06:07 A.M.

Your macro's still stand out for me. I absolutely love it! But the ones in your 'people' portion is also very good. I was always afraid to take photos of strangers - but it's kind of an adrenalin rush for me now... Started to love taking street photos! But yours is VERY good! k

Alibek Makhmudov , August 15, 2007; 05:12 A.M.

Running into jungles and street...

Wow! Life just keeps getting better! I am very excited to see your works you'll take in jungles with your new Sigma zoom telephoto lens... it's gonna be a stunning experience... if I were you, I'd probably jump on my toes for such a chance... here in Kazakhstan we're only dreaming about woods--I'm not even talking about jungles in stuff;). It is amazing.

And yes, as Karlien said--she's fond of taking street photos--so we are frankly... I agree--such an adrenalin rush is a cool thing in real;) ...also, forgot to mention lest after I got my telephoto (Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 Macro HSM), I've really opened up to the street genre... still learning though;) It's one of the coolest things to do... especially since you're lucky to live somewhere over Bangalore. How many people are in there? My city counts only 300,000 folks. Not too much fun, I say.

Keep in touch and keep clickin' (chuckle).

Alibek

Ilia Farniev , August 27, 2007; 10:22 P.M.

Hello Vamsi. I was very glad to hear from you about Sandal woods. Please find the way to these woods and show us the good pictures of them.

I was also looking into your portfolio with great interest and have found many wonderful images I admire very much. All macro shots are very well composed and are in good color. Bring great images into attention in fine, aesthetic way. The nature shots are simple and beautyful, very much like the Subcontinent itself. Best regards. Ilia.

Ilia Farniev , September 04, 2007; 07:38 P.M.

Hello Vamsi. Admire the new shots in flower folder - Gloriosa flower and the Leath with drops. IMO the composition is very good and a bit of sharpness with contrast might help the general impression. The macros are very good. Regards. Ilia.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.

Happy Holidays and Happy Shooting

Ken

Hi Vamsi you have great collections. Flowers are really great. Work on macro is excellent especially with candle light which gives warm colors. I like Coffee blossom very much (my personal attachment). I personaly feel that Waterfall pics need some improvement (sorry for this comment). However, one in, my country folder is great. Pics in song title club are beautiful. In landscapes I like all. I recalled my memories on Sringeri, coorg, Kushalnagar, Balehonnur, and mysore by stopping at your profile. Great work and best of luck Regards Anand

You make me long to visit India. When I taught art to small children, they (and I) were always excited to see the architecture of your homeland. That was in the state of Connecticut, where buildings are very simple and not often embellished.

Vamsi . . .

You have an extraordinarily diverse portfolio, which obviously reflects your ability and artistry in a variety of settings and with a variety of subjects. Time has not allowed me to view your photographs as thoroughly as I would like. However, I did spend some time looking at the shots in your "Spirit" folder. They are well composed, the colors are vibrant and, most importantly, they tell of a spirituality that only India can have. One of my lifetime goals is to visit your country and to be immersed in that spirituality. Until that happens, I must thank you for helping me to confirm that such a journey will be a truly amazing experience.

Gratefully,

michael
