Thank you for the comments on my photographs, Paul. I really enjoy your work. I don't see the photograph that actually brought me to your portfolio though. It was from the "no words" forum. It was a photograph of an open bible with light falling on John 3:16. I think of that photograph often. :) It really moved me. I really like your "flora" folder as well.

Hey Paul.. I just saw the comment that you left for me for my best friends picture with his girlfriend that i happened to take by chance. Here is the picture again, without the cold temperature. This is what i did.. i increased the temperature working with RAW and i didn't touch the saturation. I left it as its original setting and then increased the contrast a tad bit. Opened the saved jpg and added a warm filter at 50%. I have no knowledge of other post processing software/s as you mentioned. So, if you could share a little bit more about it, that would be helpful. I appreciate your help and your time! I really like the birds.. very nice sharp images.. what kind of lens do you use? Hope to hear from you soon.

I just looked at the details under your pictures.. you use the Canon's "L" series.. I wish i could get my hands on those!! Well.. God willing.. one day! Right now i am happy with my 28-135mm IS.. haha!

Paul, you're more proof that a photographic artist is a combination of Technical/Eye/Soul. There's a whole bunch of this kind of artist on this site who get it right so often ... and you are one of them. You actually set standards, especially in the non-manipulated "Tell it like it is" style that you present. In the long run ... just like singing a song or dancing a dance ... it's all about taking a photo and making a picture. And, like everything else, the more you love it and spend time at it ... the better you get!

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.
