"Max you are an Artist. A rare thing on this site." Huh! That comes as high praise for a guy with a portfolio like this. You've got a very tasty sense of design, your images are nearly all strung tightly like the strings of violin. A very solid group of artistic images.

Robert, you've got some really good images here. Many of the images reflect your own, unique style--and that's no easy task these days. Keep up the good work, I'll definitely be checking back to see what you've added.

Robert-- Thanks to responding to my forum post about cropping critiques. I thought I'd have a look at your work. I respond mostly to your black and white folder. On first look, it has a certain Escher-like quality, although with more heart than just graphic appeal, and I am drawn to it. I will come back again to check out other of your photos which reach me, and there are quite a few, but for now I will comment on "Pews."

i sincerely appreciated your comment on my picture, for which many thanks. you have a very interesting and, if i may say so, quirky portfolio here with some excellent compositions. i particularly like your black and white work. looking at them makes me feel that i still have a long way to go!

Yes Robert I am a contrast nut. Thank you for you comment on Carlys photo. Gabriela was a tough shoot, 12 noon, high bright sun. Out of the 100 or so shots I took of her only a few has her NOT squinting. I learned from that. And feel free to critique my photos anytime. I feel the quality and composition of your work exceeds mine on various levels. That doesn't happen because you were lucky. You know what you are talking about because you have proof of your own work for examples. And true I am testing my eye as well as my photoshop editing, my composition, all of that. I have been shooting models for 5 months and I am learning as I go. However I can only depend on the professionals here to give me an honest critique. I am still very green at this model photography stuff.

Excellent portofolio Robert!
Photos to be proud of! As promised some days ago, I've found the time to browse your portofolio wher one can discover real gems.Shots seen through exploring eyes and captured -edited by dexterous hands. The fact that you seem not getting the notice they merit ,may be due to the "reciprocity" effect photo sites seem to suffer from.My warm congratulations and regards, Chris

Many fine images, B&W and color.
Just for the heck of it I'll mention that your horse and longhorns. Good work: I doubt Minor, Ansel, or Morley would have noticed those beasts.

Hi Robert,
I am enjoying your portfolio. I appreciate your exposure blending technique. You are able to balance the Hyper-real impressionism of HDRI with the real subjects you have chosen so to me the images seem grounded and fantastic at the same time. I like that very much.
Cheers,
Kelly Way
