Well, thank you for the kind words, and I'm glad you've enjoyed my work. I actually just signed up on Photo.net a few days ago, but I've already learned so much from so many great photographers' work here. It's been quite inspiring! :)

I was as surprised as Yann was. I like your portfolio: perfect exposures, interesting framing and great expressions. You have a good eye for living subjects (animal, vegetal and of course human!) and your still life work make a very good usage of light. [Edit: the programmer in me wants to congratulate you for the clean and very appealing design of your Web site. Pro stuff.]

Thank you all for taking the time to comment on my portfolio. When I created the portolio here a month ago, I honestly didn't expect to get much feedback on my work, compliments, no less! :)
Well, most of the photos I have uploaded here so far are from my "amateur" days when I didn't really think too much about the details of what I was photographing, so I'm hoping to get better results now that I'm taking it to another level. But then again, perhaps not thinking much would work better for me, who knows? ;)

Paul (Mr. Programmer) and Timothy, thank you for the compliment on my website. :) I actually hand-coded every single page (all 120 pages or so, no "dragging" or "dropping" got involved in the making ;) on that website because of a few different reasons, but mainly because I'm just old fashioned and I'm a bit of a control freak. :D

I found you on craigslist and visited your photo.net site. I think your images are colorful and beautiful. All of them are vibrant and makes me want to look over every inch, because there is so much interesting details. All the best, I am in the area also, maybe we'll meet on of these days.

I just wanted to say that I think your lack of training may be a plus! I'm a beginner also who joined phto.net for the same reason. There are so many things to learn about photography in order to create the best works of art that our minds dream up! However, after going through your portfolio, I would say that your view of the world around you shows that you were ment to photograph! I just hope that as you learn "The Rules" of photography, you remember to occasionally break them! Your starting off with some great work, I look forward to seeing more! Cheers!

By commenting on other artists I found your portfolio and I had the oppotunity to admire it. You have filled it with images that transmit truly a love of life and a love for this art. Not only you have captured it with good technical skills but with great artistry, and as you have mentioned in you home page, with an eye that sees all beauty in all things.
