Raffaella Lunelli , February 25, 2006; 10:09 A.M.

Thank You very, very much for your good and useful comments on my works. I like many of your photos. My comments are a little poor cause my english a little approximative... and not every time I'm able to say my thinking.

For the moon-shots, I have not much of them, for the motive You said in my portfolio: "you tend to go with the moment". I don't search the "perfect moon-photo". If I see the right athmosphere I try to shot. Not every time it goes good... Thanks again.

Sefika Mertkan-Ozunlu , February 26, 2006; 09:50 A.M.

A naturalist's life. This portfolio is representative of what many naturalist's would call a lifetime's worth of photographic marvels of the natural world. I assume you have many years more in which to create additional photographic journals. Please keep exploring our world the way you have done, it is a remarkable photographic journey even at this point!

J Michael , August 20, 2006; 12:25 P.M.

I was quite surprised to find so many comments on so many of my photos in the (distant)archives. Really appreciate the time and the interest you have taken in viewing some of my work. So out of curiosity I visited your site. Because of the really, really, really poor quality of my server it took an hour or so to go over your portfolio as I had to continually refresh to bring up more images. The wait was worth the trip. Your interest in nature and your images are obvious and enchanting. I love the lillies on the golden pond, the blue heron, the barred owl and the patience you must exhibit to capture the many shot of the flutterbies, er butterflies. Great work. I am flattered by your your attention as you are obiously one who has a profound talent for our medium. Kudos rek

Michael Steward , September 24, 2006; 12:01 A.M.

Hello D.L. I have enjoyed going through your portfolio. You capture nature's beauty so well in your various folders. Beautiful colours, sharp images and well composed. One helluva photographer!

Screw the 3/3ers ... they wouldn't know a good photo if it bit them on the bum. Keep up the GREAT work. Your patience and technical skill is so evident in all your work. Congratulations!

First of all I want to thank you very much for your time and wise advise on may 'Eruption' shot, I am taking some time to try to fix that one. Also thanks for your comments on my work, as you see I am a novice in photography but I feel it feels me and since I remember I liked lenses and scopes, so you know, is some thing that comes with people. Dave Dube , June 24, 2007; 03:43 P.M.

Great Photos!

DL, very nice work. Some categories I like better than others but that's just personal taste, your photos are well done.

I find my photos middle of the road, I do try and convey some emotion with each photo, whether what's going on in the scene or emotions conveyed with color. Examples in a couple of your photos would be the 'Female Cardinal' or 'Muscadet Lily' and the 'Long Trip Home' which is terrific.

Keep up the great work, Dave

Janelli Ramiscal , July 01, 2007; 09:00 A.M.

Many thanks for making a comment on one of my image, which enabled me to view your superb images. I find that you are poet-painter-photographer. Your images have technical perfection with high aesthetic appeal. Admirable composition and play of colours. Best wishes from India.

D. L. Stupski , July 27, 2010; 10:54 P.M.

All of you have been very kind and I dearly appreciate these words of encouragement.  I'm returning to photography now after some "time out" and finding renewed vigor and joy in the beauty of this world.  We all need more of that.  Much thanks to you all.

Stephanie Luke , November 17, 2011; 06:30 P.M.

thank you

I don't check in to PN as often as I should, and I didn't see your comment on one of my pictures until just now. But, better late than never, as they say. You have some beautiful images, and I really like your statement about just going thru the world and taking pictures, because, that is pretty much how I see myself, although I tend to try to play with reality and maybe make things more like I wish they were! The things I have here on PN are not my latest stuff, as I have another website; unfortunately it is messed up right now, but eventually, you may be able to get to sjlukephotography.com

Glad you decided to come back to photography.

Julie Kumar , January 28, 2012; 09:04 P.M.

Great collection

You have a great collection of photos. I will keep coming back to see more. Very inspiring.
