hi rakesh - on briefly going through your gallery, i must say it means a lot to get a compliment on lighting from someone who has mastered the effective use of it. your collection of mystique-themed portraits is, simply put, beautiful to look at.

frankly, i was surprised this portrait turned out as well as it did: it was an impromptu night-time shoot at home, with the rather garish, dim light from household lamps requiring a high iso. i guess sometimes the shadow play that such lighting naturally causes leads to interesting pictures!

i look forward to examining your pictures in more detail, in particular to enjoy the vibrant colors you somehow manage to capture - vikram.

daily, in every morning, when I make the last preparations to share some pictures or just in my usual ramblings at deep corners in PN, when I am not sure if one image exposed there can be "good eat for the eye's hungry light", I return here and I looking again in your marvellous portofolio. After that, my natural reaction is to renounce because here, in every picture, I can see the majestically danse of that subtile light waltzing in couple with the perfect tonality of the dark, all in combination with the diplomacy of fine spirit of art. Your work is like a diamond, is pure, positive, firmly... if you want, is like a lotus. Remain just your distinctive images where the words are unspeakable...

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. Prior to hosting the picture on PN I had looked into the classical concepts of portrait photography and you have a very valid point there. On the other had it made me feel that the intensity of the expression was diluted with the suggested space and therefore I adapted to the unconventional presentation.

You have a natural ability to capture candid scenes that are almost genious.

I am kinds revisiting PN after a long break. Two years may be. One of the very few names i still remeber is that of you. Greatness is a word thats used too often and bestowed on too many. But i sincerely believe it would sit pretty on your crown ( its irrelevant that you have a thick mop on top of it already). Lol. Find no words to describe how I feel every time I visit your portfolio. 'Gasping for breath' may be one of the many feelings. You are one of the few who has the combination of an uncanny eye, a great sense of aesthetics, huge technical knowhow and absolute mastery over PS. If what i say, sounds like plain flattery, the prob lies in my language, not my feelings. Great going.

It's been a while since I last visited your gallery. Of course, I knew that your collection would grow with increasing number of perfect shots. I suppose returning after a gap gives a jolt to the senses and a reminder of how much further I have to go. This time around, I like your b/w compositions (Father and Son, Angry Young Lady) and others like "Looking Forward, Looking Inward". What I really want to learn is how you achieve such clarity and colour in your shots. Even in b/w, the details are astonishing, and this is especially with reference to when you do not shoot in controlled environments.

Here's looking forward to learning more from your work while enjoying them.
