I'm not trying to blow smoke here Steve, you've got a nice bunch of images here & I think you should put more up. I suppose no one place on Earth is better than another for subject matter, but you really have an opportunity here for something special. You're a good photographer & I'm going to check in here from time to time.

Great portfolio Steve, you captured "life" well in your people shots. My turn to be envious - I have never set foot in China even though it's where my family is from.

Steve, I have always wanted to go to China and your photos make me want to go even more. I have a good friend who used to work at my paper, who is in China teaching English,she also did a stint in the Peace Corps, I look forward to seeing more of China, thanks for posting your photos.

Hard to believe that both of those images are the same girl. :-) You have a great portfolio and it gives a wonderful view of life in the East. Please post more and thanks again for your comments.

What is ESL? I grew up in Hong Kong and headed east to New Jersey. Now living in Hawaii. Your images sure brought back a lot of memories for me.
