Your black and white folder is excellent. I like the fact that many thing are going on at the same time in the same place and your skill to capture that moment in a very relaxed way. PDS

Thank you for your comment on my portfolio. I liked your B&W very much too. I wish I could see them as actual prints. It is very rare to find darkroom quality images on the net these days. Thanks again.

Oh, Toshio, you have already very nice travel photos from Europe! I should look at your portfolio before writing answer to your comment on one of my photos. It is interesting to see how you capture Europe. Above all, your architecture photos are outstanding! To find something original on the sceneries you already know from so many photos is so difficult but you managed it very well. Maria

You are very talented and your B&W portfolio has some of the best photos in that genre that I have seen. Thank you for sharing.

Anders Hingel , February 04, 2007; 03:12 P.M.

Toshio, you have a series of very good B/W photos that shows a particular personal style that calls for attention. Your low contrast cityscapes are especially good in my eye and create a novel way of looking at scenes many of which I also have had a go on. You are special. Don't change your style.

Philippe Rapoport , February 16, 2007; 04:23 P.M.

Toshio, your people pictures are incredibly good! I love their humanity and every day strangeness.

Enchanting Photos

Konbanwa Tomaki San

I have visited your galleries; I have never spent such a long time viewing someone's work as I spent looking at yours. They are unusually thought provoking, and instantly engage your eyes, very deep I would say. Thank you for posting them. Forgive me if my greeting in Japanese is incorrect.  When I was younger I studied Aikido for many years, and at times with students of Mohirei Ueshiba, Osensi. Much of the instruction was in Japanese; now, out of neglect, I don't remember as much.
