variety of people, customs, and culture. The African landscape,
flora, and fauna are rich enough in variety to keep a photographer
busy for a lifetime.
The challenges of travel in Africa are serious, especially for
photographers on a budget. Due to government regulation, air travel
to and communications within Africa cost between 3 and 100 times as
