From the gallery of the Grand Canal is missing a picture of Ca' d'Oro, a jewel of Italian (and not only) medieval architecture.

Maria

PS: Not only the view, but also the name of this building sticked so to my mind, that I named the research project I proposed Ca'redivivus, as it was to be about housing buildings, and Ca' comes from Italian "casa"= house [but not only; also in Romanian, the language of my country, it is exactly the same: casa]
