I was contacted by a vendor partner today about their revamp of a trade show exhibit for an upcoming series of bridal
shows. They're a southern plantation venue, and have me on their preferred vendors list, give out my cards to their
clients, etc. I've done some freebie things to help them market, re-created their logo as a graphic to use, etc.
They want me to produce a series of best images from events I've shot there, mounted on foamcore, so they can
arrange them on their display backdrop. The question is, should I have my logo in the lower corner of every print, or
should I simply do a single placard that says, "photography by....", along with a stack of my biz cards?
I know they'll help promote me one way or the other, I just wanted feedback on what you all thought about my logo
placement? What would look best, and what might be a most effective way to place a photo credit with an exhibit
like this?

Logo for sure and your web addy on the back of them all.

David, should I put the logo / web address on each photo, or on a single placard somewhere on the exhibit? What would look best? I don't want their tradeshow to look like they're just "whoring" me out or something, or to "overdo" it.

On each one IMO. You can simply make it a watermark type logo, or a stroke on clear lettering. If your logo is less than say 1.5" on an 11x14 you should be fine.

I also agree: Studio logo / signature whatever you use, in the same place on each photo.
[Personally, I am not keen with the total look simple foamcore mounting conjures in my mind: I would opt for a frame around each mounted print, also.]

William, I agree, mounted foamcore photos always are prone to dings and dents, and it looks cheap too. However, this vendor seems to want something that's lightweight and easy to carry/set up, and I may have little choice in how she ultimately does it. But, I will be meeting with her and giving her some ideas, so hopefully I can convince her to do something a bit more "upscale" looking. Thanks for your opinion, it matches mine.
